Started with mountain biking to compensate for a sitting-down profession. Started out with xc and got dragged to a downhill race in Spa, 1996. I fell almost every step of the way down, full of bruises, but so much fun. Downhill wasn’t easy to start with as it is now with bike parks and affordable bikes. It stayed a “wish” until 2003 when my light freeride-bike arrived. From that moment on, everything went ‘downhill’. That year I rode the Megavalanche for the first time and the love for enduro downhill was born.
